A few months back, I was asked by my department to draft a list of conferences about Technology-Enhanced Learning, so that they could decide whether or not to encourage our researchers to submit and attend. I asked my readers for feedback (link to Google Doc), and based on your help, personal experience and rankings I came up with these:
- Good: International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Education (AIED), International Conference of Computer-Supported Collaborative Learning (CSCL), European Conference on Technology Enhanced Learning (EC-TEL), International Conference on Intelligent Tutoring Systems (ITS). Not just TEL, but excellent: ACM Conference on Human Factors in Computing Systems (CHI), User Modeling, Adaptation and Personalization (UMAP), International World Wide Web Conference (WWW)
- Medium: Australasian Computing Education Conference (ACE), Frontiers in Education: Computer Science and Computer Engineering (FECS), IADIS International Conference e-Learning, IADIS International Conference Mobile Learning, IEEE International Conference on Advanced Learning Technologies (ICALT), International Conference on Computers in Education (ICCE), International Conference on Web-based Learning (ICWL), World Conference on Mobile and Contextual Learning (mlearn).
Also mentioned but not recommended were CATE and ED-Media.
This list is by no means exhaustive. For that, see the list by Clayton R. Wright via Stephen Downes.

Thank you to all 6 of my readers who completed the survey ;) and to Pierre-Alain Dorange for the picture.
